Carl Trueman on pastoral ministry

by | Aug 31, 2010 | Practical Theology

This is really, really good. I find within myself a desire to stay in the study to hide from people and cuddle with my books. Don’t get me wrong, I do not think it is wrong to cuddle my books. I do, however, think it is very wrong to cuddle my books and stay away from the sheep under my pastoral care.

The death of those who have blessed, guided, and helped us through this life should not be allowed to pass without notice and gratitude. I do thank God for the life and ministry of A. N. Martiin. I cannot allow his homegoing to pass without expressing deep thanksgiving for God giving him to us.
