Since this could be a helpful resource for many, we share it for your consideration.
Although Tyndale was not a humanist in a pure sense, he certainly reflected several of the humanist ideals. He wanted to work from the original languages of a given source as he interpreted or translated. He clearly made use of humanist writings, both in allusions and quotations.
Providential hindrance is a term used to encompass a broad array of reasons that a person might not be able to attend the stated meetings of the church. Some of these reasons are valid, but many are not. I’d like to bring some clarity to what it means to be truly hindered from coming to church providentially.
